Umesh Pathak M.D. completed his medicine degree in 1986 from PBDSPGIMS, Rohtak India. He served as a House Surgeon in Orthopedics in New Delhi, India until for a year.  He served in Indian Navy as a Surgeon Lieutenant Commander as a commissioned officer in Army Medical Corp in India.

He completed Pediatrics Residency from Driscoll Children's Hospital,  Corpus Christi TX 1995-1998. He had medical licenses for State of Indiana and Alabama. Has license for state of Texas since 1998.

Dr. Pathak has served as Chief of Pediatrics services at Knapp Medical Center for 2 consecutive years 2005 and 2006. He has been on the list of America's Top Pediatricians.

 

He is ABMS Pediatrics Board Certified and a Diplomate of American Board of Pediatrics. He has been serving in Weslaco since July 1998 to present and has privileges in Knapp Medical Center Weslaco and Doctors Hospital at Renaissance, Edinburg, TX.
